Bermuda is proud to host this year's PGA Grand Slam of Golf on October 13 - 15, 2008, for the second year running. Invited to play are: from South Africa, Masters Champion, Trevor Immelman; from Ireland, British Open winner & PGA Champion, Padraig Harrington; from South Africa, 2001 and 2004 U.S. Open Champion, Retief Goosen; and, from USA, 2003 U.S. Open Champion, Jim Furyk.
Angel Cabrera won the inaugural PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda in October of 2007, and we look forward to see which one of the four invitees will win this year's tournament.
The 2008 PGA Grand Slam of Golf will again be played at the Mid Ocean Club and the host hotel is the Fairmont Southampton. The Mid Ocean Club received a No. 45 ranking by Golf Digest for courses outside the United States and has hosted such Heads of State as Presidents George H.W. Bush and Dwight Eisenhower; Winston Churchill, The Duke of Windsor, as well as baseball icon Babe Ruth.
